Great Plains delivers a highly economical seeding solution with the versatile 1206NT Drill, capable of simultaneously seeding up to three different seed types at different rates. Built on the success of the 1205NT, the 1206NT features proven 06 Series openers and comes standard with a main seed box. A 4-speed gearbox and fluted feed meter gently and precisely handle a wide variety of seed types. For added versatility, an optional native grass box can meter even the fluffiest native grasses, while a small seeds box allows precise placement of clovers and other fine seeds. With these options, the 1206NT can plant up to three different seeds at three different rates in a single pass. The end wheel design makes the 1206NT extremely maneuverable and reliable. By keeping all ground-working components aligned with the end wheels, sideloading on rolling terrain and contours is minimized, extending opener life. Additional productivity-enhancing features include hydraulically adjustable coulter depth and a mechanical clutch that automatically disengages when the drill is raised.
