Crewe began in 1952 with a simple promise from Norman “Butch” Taylor: to give local farmers honest service and equipment they could rely on. What started as a small, family-run shop quickly became a trusted hub for agricultural needs across Southside Virginia.
As the community grew, so did the business—passing knowledge, values, and work ethic from one generation to the next. Today, Crewe Tractor remains rooted in the same principles Butch built it on: hard work, integrity, and a genuine commitment to the people who depend on their land.
